Rustic finishes and clean lines come together for classic Craftsman style in our Charlie Collection. With hand-applied finishes that show the natural grain of the wood and hardwood frames, this children's furniture collection is as timelessly styled as it is expertly crafted.
HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED
- Expertly crafted of solid oak wood, poplar, oak veneers, plywood and MDF (medium density fiberboard), an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures that the bed will endure over time.
- Expertly constructed with mortise-and-tenon and tongue-and-groove joinery for high quality structural integrity.
- Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew.
- GREENGUARD Gold Certified. Meets or exceeds stringent chemical emissions standards.
DETAILS THAT MATTER
- Weathered Navy and Smoked Gray finishes use a multi-step finish with a heavy textured grain to achieve a natural weathered feel and look.
- Hand-finished and with natural variations in the wood grain's texture and appearance, no two pieces are exactly alike.
- Mattress platform is made of 100% solid wood slats for extra strength; designed for use with or without a box spring (mattress and box spring are sold separately).
- Mattress platform can be positioned at 2 heights: (1) lower position for easy access in and out of bed for young children, (2) higher position for storage.
